Why do churches help the community?
Christ once said love God and love your neighbour on these two principles hang all the laws and the prophets. If you love your neighbour as Christ commanded you will desire to help them in good ways when ever possible. Thus filling your life with selfless joy and many blessings from on high. Larger Service projects are performed by individual churches and congregations. Massive projects like building buildings and disaster relief projects are usually preformed by individual or multiple religions as a whole. These service projects are referred to as service because if they are paid then they have their reward from man and God technically doesn’t need to reward them because its for their own gain and not for the greater glory of God. PS. individuals with the intent of getting gain by looking good using religion as an alibi is referred to by Christ as priest craft and is against His commandments.
