What are Chicken Pox ?
Chicken pox is a virus that is so contagious that indirect contact with an infected person can spread the virus. Luckily, most people who get it will only get it once because then they usually end up becoming immune to the virus. Symptoms of chicken pox usually include fever for 24 hours or less, general malaise, and small red spots on the face and neck. These spots turn into blisters and then break open and crust over, forming scabs. The worst part of chicken pox is probably the itching factor. It is almost unbearable. Scratching the scabs can possibly lead to scarring, not to mention infection. People typically catch chicken pox when they are little kids, though it is most definitely possible to catch it at an older age. It is extremely hard to make the itching go away when chicken pox infect the body, however there are a few things that can be done to help relieve the painfully annoying itching sensations.
