D1 is also the designation for the top level competition of Drift racing. As far as I know, D1 racing started in Japan, but now it is infiltrating the rest of the world. http://www.d1gp.com/ is the American D1 championship webpage. To view the Japanese website you need to translate it. Go to www.altavista.com and do a search on D1. When it comes up, go to the result “D1 GRAND PRIX official website” (www.d1gp.co.jp) and click on the translate option. It will open up the site with as much info as possible translated into english. http://www.fulllock.com/ is another good drifting site.
