What is a serpentine Draft?
A serpentine draft is one where the order in the first round is predetermined — often randomly. In the second round the NFL players are selected in the opposite order. In other words, the first team to make a selection in the first round would select last in the second round and first again in the third round. This draft order continues until the last draft round has ended.
