What are the ranks and how do they work?
The ranks system is merely a fun way to display who has been on the boards the longest. Everyone starts out as a SwimNewbie. To advance past that takes a combination of things, such as time registered, number of posts, etc. There are many tiers of ranks, each with different themes. You can contribute to the divination of these ranks by posting here. Sometimes, special ranks are given out to coincide with events like the premiere of a new series or a show returning for another season.
