Can 3 Akitas kill a Bear?
Answer Hello Sergio Well firstly it depends what type of bear. Anything larger than a black bear would probably be too much for the Akitas and even a black bear would have the upper hand. Whilst it isn’t impossible for the dogs to bring down say a grizzly the chance of them doing so is incredibly low as bears are so much bigger and stronger and are capable of using their arms to defend themselves. Packs of 5-6 wolves were back down against a grizzly knowing that it could wipe out most of the pack so 3 Akitas would also probably flee rather than fight in the first place.
