What scanners does ImgMan support?
ImgMan was not designed with a built-in scanner interface. There are several reasons for this, primarily cost: to include the additional complexity and licensing required to support reliable, fast scanning would carry an enormous price tag. In an office environment, it is normal for the scanning to be (to a greater or lesser degree) centralised and thus making the extra functionality redundant for the majority of office users. To further complicate matters, it is highly likely that potential users have already scanned some images onto their system and don’t require a scanning utility, but will want to add their current images to ImgMan. To assist the users in this area, Griffyn have developed an import tool designed to index pre-scanned data and prepare it for bulk importing into ImgMan. If you have a large volume of paper you wish to scan, Griffyn suggest you use a product designed specifically to help automate this process as much as possible or outsource the work to a reputable comp
