Is 1330 a good SAT score?
Meeting with your school counselor will help you decide your best workload in order to keep your GPA at it’s top rung. As far as the PSAT, your being a sophomore means, on average, add 200 points of learning by the time you take the SAT. As far as the community service, admissions counselors want to see how organized you are, will you make it with your work load, do you ask for help and follow guidelines, and keep up your GPA – so choosing work that will allow you to do this is a good way to go. My best advice for you is to decide what will make you happiest – in your area of study – and focus your efforts in that arena. For example, a football player could assistant coach as part of community service. An art major could volunteer at schools. A music major could assist young performers with private tutoring. This shows specialization and commitment to help others improve, with your knowledge and dedication being their best example. Have a healthy and happy new year!
