What is a Micro Node?
The DREN is capable of receiving information (motion detection and other sensory data) through the incorporation of wireless micro nodes. For example, wireless PIRs can trigger the DREN camera to zoom to an area where motion has been detected. Other sensory devices (micro nodes) such a fire sensors, particulate sensors, etc. may transmit data back to the DREN. A wide variety of sensory inputs can be incorporated in to a DREN application.
