How Do You Make A Bug Plant Stake?

0

These cute bug plant stakes can be made as gifts or for your own houseplants. Make bumble bees, ladybugs or green flying bugs to decorate any houseplant. Give your drab green houseplant some lively color and a little critter friend. Pick a medium black pom pom and large pom pom ball in red for a ladybug, yellow for the bumble bee or green for the bug. Line the pom poms up to create a head and body. Wrap a black pipe cleaner around the middle of the balls keeping them in order, head and body. This will create two sections in the pom poms and attach the two together. Twist the pipe cleaner together at the bottom of the balls and cut off excess pipe cleaner. Cut pipe cleaner to match your bug into two inch sections. For each bug, slip three pieces of pipe cleaner under the large pom pom through the black pipe cleaner. The black pipe cleaner should hold the colored pipe cleaners in place. These are your bug’s legs; bend them to look like legs. Slide a two inch piece of colored pipe cleaner
