How are the STP and JumpStart different?

In addition to the STP lasting 6 weeks and JumpStart only lasting 1 week, the main difference is the treatment. The STP is a fun recreational setting, but the interventions are provided consistently over the 6 week period and tailored to the needs of each child. As the name implies, the Summer Treatment Program is a treatment program and each child has a treatment plan, we measure progress and make adjustments to interventions according to each adolescent’s response. JumpStart includes some of the same interventions; however, it is designed as an education and recreation program. Children and adolescents in both programs report that they have a wonderful time and we strive to keep each day an enjoyable and rewarding experience for your child.
