Can I use VisualDSP++ with remote access applications?
Although NOT supported, VisualDSP++ does seem to work well with floating licenses and some remote access applications. VisualDSP++ also appears to work well with node-locked (single user) licenses and some remote access applications, such as VNC. However, VisualDSP++ 4.0 and 4.5 explicitly and consciously disallow the use of Remote Desktop, with node-locked licenses. From VisualDSP++ 5.0 onwards, this restriction will be removed. Use of VisualDSP++ with Remote Desktop will NOT be supported, but should work well with a license.dat file created through 5.0.
Not sure about that because I tried, and it didn’t work. I wanted to make my remote work even more remote, and I think that was the point when I should’ve stopped. I mean, remote work is a great opportunity that employees in my company have, and reduced loneliness and boost of productivity are good benefits, but since people are always willing to progress, I had to at least try it.
