What is COLD WORKING PRESSURE
• Sorry – you need a bit more detail! For me, two definitions of Cold Working Pressure spring to mind. 1) A few pneumatic items come with the pressure is on with cold as of to that working a cold working pressure rating. (Essentially the same as the tire thing mentioned above, only for items with integral air sinks, etcetra.) These are essentially the minimum pressure that they can handle as air in the system cools and reduces pressure. (Pneumatic charge systems for purging are what I’m thinking of, I’m sure there are other examples.) 2) Hydraulic systems sometimes refer to cold working pressure as the pressure exerted on the system on start-up, as you get a pressure spike on start-up.I’m guessing this has something to do with your tires.
