Who should come to Phoenix Comicon?
Anybody that likes some of the hip and cool stuff that’s out there should come. If you are in high school or college I would come. Again, if there is anything specific that you are looking for, or if you want to see if you can find that remnant a little bit from when you were younger, than for sure the over 35 can come out there. How did you move from comic books to the business of toys and entertainment? We had the days of comic books where you were selling 1 million and now you are down to 100,000. I saw that coming. It is just business. You have a lot of cycles and a lot of bell curves. We started our company called Image Comics. I realized that I needed to put my eggs in a different basket. I thought I needed to take my ideas and expand to TV, movie, video games and toys. It started with the character I created called Spawn. If someone is not buying the Spawn comic book, maybe they will buy the Spawn toy, or watch the Spawn TV show. I cannot assume that everybody will be a comic bo
