Is Mirkwood in the films?
Jeffrey Steefel: There’s not a lot going on in Mirkwood at that particular time. There’s probably going to be a lot more reference to it in the upcoming film, The Hobbit, because that’s where a lot of things happen. It wasn’t touched on as much. It’s one of the things that are going on. There is certainly reference to Dol Guldur and the tower and what Sauron’s doing there. You get the sense in the movie that Aragorn keeps disappearing and coming back, and Gandalf keeps disappearing and coming back.
