How Expensive Is Amsterdam?
How expensive is Amsterdam? Well it really depends. I just got back from a 2 week trip. One week I stayed free on points. But the other week I stayed in a really great 4 star hotel in an upgraded room. I spent less than $100 US a night thru priceline. There are bargains to be had if you spend a little time looking for them. I have seen others get 4 and 5 star hotels this winter for even less than what I paid thru PL. The down turn in folks coming to AMS because of the winter/economy has a real upside for me. The hotel offered a 25% discount on buffett breakfast. Also because of the poor occupancy rates they have. And I know how to smoke some of the best stuff Dampkering has for 4 euros a gram. And some quality stuff at the Noon for under 6 euros a gram. I ate well at breakfast had basicly had one meal the rest of the day and never spent more than10 euros on any meal.
