Place a plastic cover over the wig block to protect the block’s canvas and mount the wig on it. Gently brush the wig to loosen any dirt or hairspray. Mark the wig size on the block with a T-pin in the front, on the sides and at the back; remove the wig to clean it. Saturate the wig in 3 ounces of nonflammable liquid cleanser in a large glass bowl. Holding the wig hair side down, dip the wig up and down until it is clean. Clean the edges and inside of the netting with cotton balls or a toothbrush dipped in the liquid cleanser.
