How Often Does A Crab Spider Eat?
Well, they would eat almost every day most of the time, but it would depend on the season and frequency of prey coming along! Now, with a red crab spider that lives inside a pitcher, they would have to wait for their prey to come along (such as ants), wait for them to fall into the water and drown, at which time they can “fish” them out. With white crab spiders that prey on honey bees, obviously they would need spring time and honey bees coming along to pollenate flowers for them to eat.
