Why isn my UMail mailbox provisioned?
Because many alumni still have information linking them into the old Webmail system, if they return to campus as a student or staff member, it is difficult for us to be sure that their mailbox will be ready for them. There are also a few password issues with employees with PeopleSoft roles and people who have not changed their CIS passwords in a long time. If you log into the uNID Account tools and see that your Mail system (in the right-hand column) is listed as iPlanet/Webmail rather than UMail, and you don’t have an Activate UMail Account button, please contact the Campus Help Desk at 581-4000, option 1.
