How are CSUF parking fees used?
CSUF parking fees for the fiscal year 2008 – 2009 were allocated as follows: • 38% of total revenues for operating expenses, which includes department employee salaries and benefits; operating expenses such as utilities (electricity and water); street sweeping and trash collection. • 29% of total revenues for annual debt service payments. • 21% of total revenues to reimburse the General Fund for services provided by state-funded departments, such as University Police, and administrative and financial services. • 12% of total revenues for facilities maintenance and repair, such as repaving and restriping parking lot surfaces.
