Are dark red nails slutty?
Generally, dark colors look much better on long nails, and paler colors look better on shorter nails. However, since you’re a teenager, you will probably want to experiment and find your own style. Maybe your style will be short, dark nails. Traditionally, yes, dark nails were the sign of a ****/loose woman. But that was several decades ago. Nowadays, dark nails just mean that the wearer likes dark nails. However, if your polish is really chipped badly, THAT makes you look slutty. So either maintain your manicure, or take off the polish completely when it starts getting chipped. Don’t let it just wear off. I will tell you some things, though. You really, really need to wear a base coat with colored polish, especially dark polish.
