Credit Union Business Services, LLC (CUBS) was created by the shareholders of Credit Union Financial Services, LLC in 2003 in response to requests from credit unions looking for the professional expertise to properly evaluate member business loan requests and provide an alternative loan source in order to meet their members’ demand for business related loans. CUBS’ original mission was to acquire this expertise in order to originate, underwrite and service member business loans. Since its formation, CUBS has originated over $120 million in commercial property, equipment, automobile, and lines of credit loans. These loans are being participated among credit unions or have been sold in the secondary market. Today, CUBS is a full-service, business lending Credit Union Service Organization run by credit union people for credit union people. We believe that through cooperation, any credit union, big or small, can provide loans for the small business member/owner.
