Parties can be lots of fun, and little boys, especially, love dressing up and acting like pirates. Pirate parties can be fun for both kids and adults, and can be done affordably as well. Here are some tips on how to plan a pirate party. Put together a guest list and send out the invitations. Purchase pirate-themed invitations from the party store or make them by hand. For handmade invitations, take a piece of paper and write the date, time, location and phone number of the person to contact for the pirate party. Get a tube or miniature plastic bottle and roll up the piece of paper and stick it in the bottle. Mail the tube, if it’s plastic, to the guests or hand them out in person. Decorate the party location with streamers and balloons. Hang streamers around the room that are red, black and gold in color. Have balloons floating in the air around the party area.
