Do nose piercings or belly button piercings hurt?
We can’t really tell you if they will hurt you. As you might have realized, it’s different for everyone. I didn’t feel my navel piercing. My nose piercing hardly hurt but for a second. Tattoos…that depends on where they are. The one on my upper back tickled, didn’t really feel behind my ear, but my foot, ribs and calf (my calf was because it was a long project) hurt a good amount. Foot less than the ribs, calf and ribs about the same because the ribs felt like the needle was digging in them and the calf was a 6 hour long project.
All piercings and tattoo hurt, but how bad they hurt will vary greatly from person to person because all people have a different pain tolerance. I feel that pain should not be a deciding factor when considering getting a body mod. No pain, no gain…you know? Generally piercings tend to hurt slightly when they are being done because the process is very quick and done with in seconds. Usually there is a mild stinging or pinching feeling and that’s it. The area pierced can be sore during the healing period and obviously complications from poor aftercare or poor piercing procedure can be painful. Tattoos hurt while they are getting done, but the pain will vary depending on the location of the tattoo. Most people say it feels like a sunburn being scratched, others compare the feeling to being cut with a razor over and over again. To me the pain isn’t really bad and once the adrenaline kicks in, its not bad one bit. In my opinon, a nostril piercing is really just annoying at first. On top o
