Can sheet music be preserved?
Over time paper products fade and decay because of the acid in their composition and because of the exposure to harmful sunrays. This takes years to occur so for most users of sheet music it is not a concern. However, if you are writing your own compositions or have purchased a rare piece, use archival quality paper or preservation materials to prevent wear and tear.
