Why do bridesmaids get bouquets?
It is just a traditional thing, and it looks really pretty. It is also a good way of making a bridesmaid feel comfortable walking alone down the aisle as holding the bouquet makes them hold themselves nicely, if they did not have one they may find it hard to know were to put their hands. (its hard to explain) I know what you mean though, to make the most of mine, I am adding the bouquets to the table centerpieces to get more use out of them if you want to save money on this, you can choose cheaper flowers (in season) e.g.
