What is interlining?
An insulations of sorts to pad, stiffen and protect the decorative fabric, as well as provide added insulation between the outside and inside of the home. Interlining is sewn to the backside of the beauty fabric and then covered with lining, which typically faces the street side of the window. Interlining is not seen but provides a great deal of protection and oomph to drapery panel.
