What is Dynamic Heap Memory?
Memory on your Palm OS device is split into two main segments – the Dynamic Heap and the Storage Heap. The Storage Heap contains all of your programs and databases. Basically, the storage heap acts almost like a hard drive and is designed for long-term storage of data. The Dynamic Heap contains the data that is currently being used by the program that is running, sort of like RAM on your PC. Any data that an application needs to access quickly and easily is stored in the Dynamic Heap while the application is running. When you exit the application, any data that is in the Dynamic Heap is then erased. Is there a way to increase Dynamic Heap Memory on my device?
