What is Oxfam’s policy on diversity?
Oxfam’s commitment to equality applies to everything we do. Externally it is at the heart of our work on poverty and relationships we build. Internally the values of equality are at the heart of how we accept, respect and value people with diverse identities and backgrounds. For Oxfam living up to our values and beliefs on equality and diversity are vital to maintaining our credibility and integrity as an organisation. But Oxfam also believes that valuing Diversity brings business benefits to the organisation. These include better recruitment, increased retention, improved understanding of communities, customers and markets and enhanced public reputation.
