Why do women sell their dresses?
The whole concept of whiteCHICAGO started when Ursula got married and didn’t want to keep her dress in her soon-to-be “shared” closet or in her mom’s attic. It was a shame and a waste to have such a gorgeous dress not be worn again. Besides the recycling aspect of selling the dress, there is also the emotional aspect. It feels good to give something you love to someone else. The other reason, of course, is recouping some money. After the wedding is a perfect time to collect some cash that can be used for a new home, an anniversary trip or even starting a savings account for your new family. We like to tell brides that one special thing they can do is buy a bracelet, a necklace or some earrings that can be worn all the time in memory of the wedding day.
