Oracle Internet Academy (OIA) is one of the education initiatives of Oracle to develop strategic partnership with secondary schools and provide services to the society. Each participating school has to nominate a teacher for the programme. Oracle Internet Academy will first provide training to the participating teachers to become qualified instructors of the Oracle course. These qualified instructors would then teach their own students to complete the related course, attempt the examination administered by Oracle and eventually attain internationally recognised certificates upon passing the examination. Awarding of Qualification (i) Teachers: After attending the training course and passing the exit examination, teachers will be awarded a certificate of Novice Data Modeling and SQL Instructor qualifying them to teach the said course. (ii) Students: After completing Database Fundamentals I & II, students are eligible to sit for the Introduction to Oracle 9i: SQL Examination, a paper lead
