How Do You Own A Pet Wolf?
• Know the rules about wolf ownership in your country or region. US law says that it is legal to own a wolf dog if he/she is less than 75% wolf; any percentage over that, you must have a permit. • Do your research! Be sure a wolf or wolf dog is a good pet you would like to add to your family. • Do not take a wolf from the wild! Instead, purchase or adopt one from a wolf sanctuary. • Care for it or find a different arrangement if you can’t cope. No matter what, even if the wolf seems too big for your house, do not send her out into the wild! This will most likely get her killed, as she is used to being a house pet, not a wild animal. Be careful who you tell! Some people may become nervous if they find out that you have a pet wolf or pet wolf dog, this may cause your companion to be removed from you.
