These days we can rarely buy a thumb drive that simply has storage space on it. They come with all this junk which is why this dialog box is causing you such a pain. It probably installed a service on your system the first time you plugged it in to your machine. With an Administrator account go to Administrator Tools, (Either on your Start Menu or through the All Programs menu, or in Control Panel) and click on Services. Or, open the Run dialog box by holding down the Windows Logo key and pressing the r key once. Then type in services.msc and hit Enter. Services will open. Look through the Services panel and look for any entry which corresponds with the name of your thumb drive. If you locate one double click on the entry to open its Properties. On the first tab, at the top, locate the service legal name and write it down. (or just leave its Properties open for this next part) Next, open Task Manager and click on the Processes tab.
