A little animal called a Luwak in Indonesia, eats the coffee cherries (including the bean inside). The cherry is digested, and the bean just passes on through, to be deposited on the ground. The beans are collected, cleaned, roasted and ground to produce the unusual Kopi Luwak coffee. Strange and slightly gross, but it is true.
