“It depends” is the actual answer. Did your father ever formally acquire Dutch nationality having at least one Dutch nationality parent? e.g. if he was born in the Netherlands with foreign parents then he did not acquire Dutch nationality If he did have Dutch nationality then does he still retain it, because if he acquired Canadian nationality by naturalisation then he would automatically lose Dutch citizenship after 10 years.
