The university’s rapidly growing endowment shows USC’s capacity for fulfilling long-neglected needs, most notably student housing. But the physical constraints on new construction on the University Park campus are clear. Urban revitalization, or gentrification, might be the latest buzz-word in American urban planning, but it doesn’t smell like roses for everyone. Where the middle-class sees “revitalization,” many lower-i
