Is Terrell Davis retiring?
With his knees still giving him problems, Terrell Davis is contemplating retirement. It is a sad ending to what was once a promising career. This man’s first four years in the NFL can be compared to any of the great running backs of all-time. It is a shame that he lost nearly three years to injury, but to have to retire after so much rehab would be heart wrenching. So, where does that leave the Broncos? Well, the Broncos may have made one of the more brilliant moves of its franchise. They have converted Mike Anderson into a fullback, so that leaves Olandis Gary as the team’s primary back. Potentially, Denver might have the best 1-2 punch in the entire NFL. Also, Denver’s depth at running back continues, as coach Mike Shanahan is very high on young tailback Clinton Portis as well.
