There certainly are! Lots of people have organized themselves to get power over other people. They wield this power in various ways but the most common is that you have to do what they say. Or give them money or labor under threat of being made unhappy in some vague future time by them having some sort of authority over your actions……………. By being born you immediately tacitly gave some of the gangs authority without being aware that you did so………taking part in life subjects you to their whims, that is, they can tell you to not drive your car too fast or yell “FIRE!” in a crowded movie theatre or church………if you fail to follow their rules, you are subject to being put in a cage until they think you have learned to do what they say………at a young age you will get a spanking by those in authority but as you get older and a spanking won’t change your behavior, you won’t get some reward and instead may get some punishment…………….
