Your favourites will have been transferred to NetWare 6 along with all your H: drive files, but they won’t automatically be moved into your new profile. Look in your H: drive, directory Windows NT 4.0 Workstation Profile. There will be a directory there called ‘favorites’. The contents of this directory, files and folders, need to be copied into your new profile. Your profile is found at: c:\documents and settings\userID. Look in this profile directory (userID in the string above is replaced by your own network login ID) and you will find a ‘favorites’ directory. This is where the contents of your H: favorites directory needs to go. i.e. copy the contents of h:\Windows NT 4.0 Workstation Profile\favorites to c:\documents and settings\userID\favorites n.b. If you find your userID listed more than once in the documents and settings, e.g. userID, userID.000, userID.001, userID.002 – please select and apply your favorites to the one with the highest number.
