What is Advanced AMR?
Advanced AMR utilizes IntelliNet technology to offer a single integrated solution that uses the wireless two way network to provide a variety of energy management modules which act as data loggers, transmitters and receivers. The monitoring modules are installed at the devices to be monitored and forward their data wirelessly to a concentrator. The concentrator forwards the data via the Internet to the Advanced AMR network management platform – a Linux based server with integrated software for managing the remote network and collecting, analyzing and displaying the data. Using the suite of integrated tools, energy suppliers and energy users can use real-time energy consumption date to reduce loads at peak demand periods, conserve energy during off peak hours, develop conservation strategies, and manage their energy needs much more effectively. One advantage to Advanced AMR is the ability to integrate different function monitoring modules into one network.
