WHAT ARE THE HALL OF FAME AWARDS?
History continues to verify that the innovative individuals who pursue perfection are often the ones who rise to the zenith of their chosen profession. And the marine industry is no exception to this reality. Hence, the Australian Marine Industries Federation (AMIF) has deemed it appropriate and timely to recognise and honour the individuals who have made or continue to generate “substantial and lasting contributions” toward the advancement of the marine industry. Thus, beginning in 2006 (and every year thereafter), the officers, directors, and members of the AMIF will nominate and induct deserving individuals into the AMIF Hall of Fame. Via the caliber and achievements of the initial Hall of Fame members, the benchmark for the future inductees has already been established.
