Where is the coolant leaking from?

0

My 2000 BMW Z3 is leaking coolant from what appears to be below the engine. I recently had the expansion tank changed and that area is dry, so I know it’s not from that. I don’t think it is a blown head gasket either since the exhaust does not smell strange and other symptoms of a blown head gasket don’t match the problem as well. What could be the problem? A: The previous answer is really good but I’d like to add that the water pump itself might be leaking near the shaft if it is worn out. That happened to me once.
