Do witches use Spell Checker?
This question is more insightful than you realise – Casting a spell and spelling do actually have the same root – when they first invented their orthography northern Europeans wrote in Runes. They also used to cast the runes to try and predict the future and so on – They believed the written word/letters were actually magical and could protect you etc … People had their own rune depending on what time of year they were born – much like a star sign or birth stone… although I’m not sure whether spelling originally refers to the magical bit or the other bit – but once upon a time they were pretty much the same thing………………………
