Which 8800 GTS Vendor?
Reply Quote OK, the fine folks over at the CPU & MoBos section convinced me to go with a Q6600 & 8800 GTS. So, I Newegged up 6 8800 GTS boards from 6 different vendors and all are within about $25 of each other. The vendors are Leadtek, JATON, EVGA (twice), Foxconn & BFG. I’ve been an ATI guy since waaay back and I don’t really know much about nVidia or these companies. But, I’m tired of waiting on the R600 and I’m not hearing much joy coming from the AMD/ATI camp these days anyway. So, anybody want to pick a vendor? Reply Quote XFX and eVGA are top manufacturers for NVIDIA. However PNY should give the best price/quality, it is like Sapphire for ATI.
