Who Invented the First Snowmobile?
Nobody really invented the first snowmobile. It was more a process that took some time of engines and vehicles that could move over snow. People in Wisconsin had experimented with adding ski’s to vehicles before the 1900’s. and the Russian inventor Igor Sikorsky built the Aerosan in 1909, the Aerosan runs on ski’s not tracks so it is debatable whether it is considered a true snowmobile, but if it is, then it would have been the first.
