Which dress to a semi formal dance?
Wear the pink after a slight adjustment I will recommend. The pink flatters your skin tone and your figure. The white just looks too overdone and makes you appear bigger than you are. Since the pink is already accented with black trim,you can do either of two adjustments to make it fit. Both require finding some black trim or lace or ribbon at a fabric store or from another dress. You will only need a small amount. The easiest solution is to attach equal lengths of black ribbon on either side of the top edges of the dress where the zipper would end. Zip as far as you can and then tie the ribbon into a bow to finish off that last inch. It will look like it was made to have that accent. If you feel really daring you can cut open the front of the bodice just enough to allow the zipper to close.
