Is ancestor.com reputable?
http://www.ancestor.com/ is a site which gives you lots of information to help get you started in tracing your family history their information is good ………….their sister site http://www.onegreatfamily.com is the site which you can put your information in as well as your tree and search for other information, they offer lots of additional features………….including merging trees,eliminating all duplicated data, preserving everybody’s unique view of our universal family tree(very LDS)………..this is their documents index however it doesn’t tell you where it is from, if it is copied, transcribed, purchased ( and from who) although I suspect LDS/Mormons, so IGI records which can’t be trusted as they are a collection of copied information from parish records but also anyone can send information and data in and this is put in and not verified. * Antique Pictures * B
