What is a sand save?
A sand save is when your ball finds a green-side bunker and you are able to hit the ball out of the bunker and hole out in two strokes. Tracking the percentage of sand saves you make will help you determine how well your sand play is working for you. Tracking sand saves with IntelliGolf is simple: • Whenever your ball finds a green-side bunker, click on the Bunker checkbox in the hole event screen (you get to this screen by clicking on one of the boxes below the flag stick graphic). • If you get the ball up and down from the sand in two strokes or less, also click on the Sand save checkbox .
