To set up a cigar humidor you should take a damp cloth and wipe the interior of all dust. Set a small bowl of distilled water in the cigar humidor and close lid tightly. Let set for 12 hours. If the water is almost gone, refill the bowl and set for 24 hours. Once the water is not evaporating it is ready for cigars. Remove the humidifier unit and submerge in distilled water for 30 minutes.
