How Do You Make A Kaleidescope?
• Make a circle. Loading… • Cut the circle. • Fold the Circle in halves until there are eight equal sections. The sections must be equal or you will have problems later on. • Trace the folded circle (1/8 of the full circle), onto a piece of paper. • Cut out the section that you traced. This is your tracer. • Create an interesting design on the tracer, using a variety of lines and shapes. • Trace your design with a fine tipped black marker. • Trace the design onto the other side of the tracer. • Using very light pencil markings, mark a #1 on one side of your tracer and a #2 for the other side. • Place the #1 side of your tracer under a #1 section of your circle and trace it. • Do the same thing with #2. • By flipping the tracer each time you trace a new section, your design is guaranteed to be symmetrical and match up at the edges. Your tracer does not need to be symmetrical, but the kaleidoscope should be. • Problem solve as you trace. If you run out of space in a section, or have to
